DOORS OPEN AT 6.30PM
Class Times:
Slow Rhythm Dance: 7.00pm - 7.30pm
Beginner's & Intermediate: 7.30pm - 8.00pm
Fun Dance: 8.00pm - 8.15pm
Supper: 8.15pm - 8.30pm (Tea,Coffee & Biscuits provided)
Partner Dance: 8.30pm - 9.00pm
(These times and structure of classes may differ at times)
Beginners Rock 'n' Roll Classes
Beginner's classes will take you from a non-dancer to a confident social dancer in just a few weeks, The lessons are simple and fun! The experienced dancers who volunteer to teach will have you up and showing off your dance moves on the dance floor in no time.
Intermediate Rock 'n' Roll Classes
We also have experienced Rock and Roll Dancers teaching moves and sequences suitable for Intermediate and Advanced dancers.
Partner Dances & Line Dancing
We endeavour to accommodate who come to classes and therefore endeavour to teach Fun, Partnered and Line Dancing when possible as these dances help beginner's with timing and coordination, plus they are a lot of fun.
Social Dancing
We hold a Club Social night every 9 weeks plus the occasional Sunday Dance at the Cairns Railway Hall for Sequence, Line Dancing and to practice what you have learnt. For up to date information keep an eye on our calendar, or follow our Facebook page for events happening and where dancing is happening for the week.
Our Social Dance nights welcome dancers from other dance clubs and members of the community. No matter where you've learnt to dance, we are happy to have you join us to meet new friends while doing something that is fun and also good exercise. Let's Dance and Have Fun!!
